Administrative Officer
Ms. Miran Hwang is the Administrative Secretary to the Chief Executive Officer for The New Zealand Education Directory (NZED).
Miran, also known as "Lynn", graduated the prestigious Seoul International School (SIS), in Seongnam, South Korea; An elite English speaking American high-school where many of the children of S. Korea's successful leaders, business owners, and entertainers attend.
Seoul International School was the first foreign school, after the Korean Liberation in 1945, to be fully recognized by the Republic of Korea's Ministry of Education, with a license issued to the school on June 5, 1973. The Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), based in California, USA, accredited Seoul International School for a six-year term in 1979. Subsequent accreditations were proudly received in 1985, 1991, 1997 and the current accreditation in the spring of 2003. The school is regarded as Korea's finest high school.
After graduation, Miran was employed by Seoul International School as a Teacher's Aid, assisting various Western Teachers in the classroom. When a promotion became available, Miran moved into the administrative offices where she worked for over ten years. Her roles included administrative support in the Activities, Student Counseling, and Student Enrolment Departments. After many years of dedicated service (13+), Miran moved on from Seoul International School (SIS), relocating with her New Zealander husband and two children to beautiful New Zealand.
Miran secured a position, in New Zealand, as an International Student Manager for a New Zealand Private English Language School, as well as securing an administrative part-time position with The New Zealand Education Directory (NZED); Formerly New Zealand Education Global Services.
When the language school closed it's doors, Miran joined the New Zealand Education Directory (NZED) team, full-time.
Miran has traveled to a number of countries around the world, including Europe, Thailand, Singapore, Hong-Kong, USA, Australia, Japan, Malaysia, and New Zealand. She is a fluent English language speaker.
